Best Beaches in Dubai

Sun, sand, and crystal-clear water — these are the best beaches in and around Dubai for every kind of beach day.

Top beaches in Dubai

01

Kite Beach

Dubai's most active beach with kitesurfers, volleyball courts, and food trucks. The view of the Burj Al Arab is postcard-perfect. Free entry, good facilities, and a great running track along the sand.

02

JBR Beach

The most popular public beach with a vibrant promenade. Clean sand, calm water, and The Walk at JBR for shopping and dining. Free access with paid sunbed options. Excellent for families.

03

La Mer Beach

A Meraas development in Jumeirah with a designed beach, waterpark, and boutique shops. The beach is free and well-maintained, with quirky art installations. The inflatable waterpark is great for kids.

04

Black Palace Beach (Al Sufouh)

Dubai's best-kept secret beach — a wild, undeveloped stretch between the Burj Al Arab and Palm Jumeirah. No facilities, no crowds, just beautiful sand. Bring your own shade and water.

05

Sunset Beach

A free public beach directly in front of the Burj Al Arab. The swimming is calm, the sunset views are spectacular, and you can get that iconic Burj Al Arab photo without paying for a hotel visit.

06

Al Mamzar Beach Park

A huge beachfront park on the Sharjah border with five beaches, pools, and BBQ areas. Entrance is 5 AED. Much quieter than the city beaches with calmer water. Thursday is ladies-only.

07

Mercato Beach

A quieter alternative to JBR beach, in front of the Mercato Mall in Jumeirah. The sand is clean, the water is warm, and there's ample free parking. Popular with families and joggers.

08

Palm West Beach

The newest public beach on the Palm Jumeirah trunk with views of the Atlantis. Trendy restaurants and beach clubs line the promenade. Free beach access with a resort-like feel.
