Triply is an AI-powered iOS app that extracts travel destinations from Instagram Reels and TikTok videos. Share a reel or paste a URL, and Triply identifies every place mentioned — restaurants, landmarks, beaches, hotels — and pins them on an interactive map.
Two ways: share a reel directly from Instagram or TikTok to Triply using the share sheet, or copy the URL and paste it in the app. Triply's AI analyzes the caption, comments, and images to extract every travel destination.
Triply uses a two-step AI pipeline. First, it reads the caption to find named places. If the caption is vague or the post is a photo carousel, it also analyzes the images to identify landmarks and signage. All places are then geocoded and pinned on your map.
Yes! Create collections to organize your saved places — by trip ("Bali 2026"), by vibe ("Date Night"), by city, or however you like. Move places between collections anytime.
Yes. Not everything comes from Reels — you can search any restaurant, bar, hotel, or attraction worldwide and pin it to your map or add it to a collection.
If the AI can't identify specific places from the video, you'll see a "no places found" message. This can happen with vague captions or videos that don't mention specific locations. It does not count against your monthly limit.
Yes! Triply supports both Instagram (Reels, posts, carousels) and TikTok (videos and photo carousels). Just share or paste the link from either platform.
For Instagram: any URL containing /reel/, /p/, or /tv/ followed by the shortcode. For TikTok: full video URLs (tiktok.com/@user/video/...), short URLs (vt.tiktok.com, vm.tiktok.com), and photo post URLs.
Yes. For carousel posts with multiple images, Triply analyzes all the images to find places across the entire carousel — not just the cover image.
No. Triply works with public post URLs — no Instagram or TikTok login is required. Simply paste the link to any public travel reel or video.
Triply offers 5 free extractions every month. You can search and add places manually with no limits. For unlimited extractions, subscribe to the Infinite Pass.
The Infinite Pass is Triply's premium subscription. It gives you unlimited reel extractions, priority AI processing, and access to all features. Available as monthly or yearly.
Cancel anytime through the App Store: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Triply → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
No. All your saved places, collections, and maps stay exactly as they are. You just won't be able to extract new places from reels beyond the free monthly limit.
No. Triply never asks for your Instagram or TikTok credentials. It only needs the public URL of the reel or video you want to extract places from.
Triply stores the places you extract and your collections. We use Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In for authentication. We do not access your Instagram or TikTok account, messages, or followers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
No. Your saved places and collections are private to your account. We do not sell or share your personal data. We use AI services to process reel content, but no personal data is sent — only the reel's public content (caption, images).
Extraction can fail if the URL is invalid, the post is private or deleted, or there's a temporary issue with Instagram/TikTok. Try again with a different reel, or make sure the post is public.
The AI extracts places explicitly mentioned in the caption or clearly visible in the images. Very obscure locations, misspelled names, or places only briefly shown may be missed. You can always add places manually.
