Best Beaches in Amalfi Coast
Sun, sand, and crystal-clear water — these are the best beaches in and around Amalfi Coast for every kind of beach day.
Top beaches in Amalfi Coast
Spiaggia Grande, Positano
The iconic beach with colourful umbrellas backed by pastel houses — it's touristy but undeniably gorgeous. Arrive before 9am to snag a free spot on the public section at the far right.
Fiordo di Furore Beach
A hidden cove under a dramatic bridge between towering cliffs. The water is impossibly clear and there's room for maybe 50 people. Reach it via steep steps from the road above.
Marina di Praia
A small pebbly beach tucked into a narrow cove between Praiano and Amalfi. The water is crystal clear, there's a decent restaurant on the beach, and it never gets as packed as Positano.
Spiaggia di Atrani
A tiny beach right next to Amalfi that most tourists walk past. It's where local families swim — the setting between ancient buildings is gorgeous and there are no aggressive beach club touts.
Duoglio Beach, Amalfi
West of Amalfi town, reached by a long staircase or water taxi. The snorkelling here is excellent thanks to rocky outcrops, and the beach club serves solid seafood lunches.
Santa Croce Beach
A secluded beach near Amalfi reached by boat or a steep path. The turquoise water is some of the clearest on the coast, and there's a small restaurant serving fresh catch.
